Once upon a time, Charlie and Ann Fischer, (Charann’s! See what they did there?) fell in love, got married, and opened Charann’s Tavern on the Courtney Campbell Causeway. Their Tampa Original Cheesesteak Sandwich was a hit with locals, fishermen, and circus workers alike. This cheesesteak is iconic, and people take pride in how many years they have enjoyed the same recipe that we use to this day!
